Our Macrame Cord is made out of polypropylene, the colors are U.V. protected, they will not fade or shrink. The material has very little stretch, so you can make macrame chairs faster without pulling or stretching. If the macrame chairs are left out in the weather and you wish to clean them, just use a little dish soap and scrub lightly then hose them down, let them dry outside for about 24 hours or less, macrame chairs will look like the day you made them.
